Germany was the last team to win in the old Wembley Stadium and now, thanks to the 2:1 victory yesterday, is the first team to win in the new Wembley Stadium. What makes this victory super sweet is that, although half of the usual starting players were hurt, Germany still managed to sneak away with a win.

Passed the final exam in statistics with a 3,0. Which means I don’t have to take the differential equations and numerics final in October. So now I will have a bit more than a month of free time, starting from September 13th until October 15th. Slowly everything is falling into place and it looks like I will finish my “Vordiplom” this semester!
Had a doctors appointment today. He gave me the green light to start rehab on my left hand, which I fractured two months ago. So I decided that it was time for me to rejoin softball practice. With the sun shining above our heads we played for three hours. Too bad the doctor said that I shouldn’t start swinging the bat for another two weeks. Just throwing the ball around and breaking a sweat was nice though.
Can’t wait to see first round draft pick LaRon Landry in action.
